This is written well and displays a kindhearted view of your lost love. One of the lines seems ambiguous to me, in the morning I vow to lay love's ghost to sleep and then return to the box, still to keep. Is your lover gone by way of them leaving you? Or are they gone as in passed away? Please clarify this for me because I am curious.

What a unique structure to this poem. It feels like freestyle mixed with rhyming style. Love it. A well-written poem that speaks eloquently of feelings most of us have felt at some point. A truly great piece.

The comparison of a letter with the woman who is involved, is extremely well described here. It's a comparison that is original and unique and there is a feeling of nostalgia as well.
The poem reads almost like freeverse but the rhymes are there.

I liked your love poem because we all have a box of photos from the past, the good days when we didn't recognize the faces on faded Kodak. Yes, that was us! Memories are hard to keep in our heads as time takes away our ability to remember the past. Photos always tell our life story. K xx
