Sometimes remembering can bring release from horror and life can go on without being crippled with secrets untold. Your willow is a wonderful repository of all those histories. This is a lovely poem a little like The Wishing Tree by Shel Silberstein.

Loved your Willow poem. And it reminds me of the Willow character in the Be Wee with Bea books. It's wonderful that you can use the pain and trauma of your own life experiences to create a path to healing for others.
