I'm hoping that this part will mark a turning point in your story, Lea, and I was glad that you were offered the job, particularly after everything you've been through. You tell us your story so well, and I can imagine it must be really difficult to revisit as well. Another excellent chapter.

Well my heart lifted when I read the title because that alone resonates with positivity. Your story is rich in descriptive detail about the forest, always a pleasure to read. And, at last, some human life that offers hope! This is all such pleasing relief from that forbidding past. Small edits in the main body: waving (without the 'i') and pe(e)ked out around her dress (great image!). A lovely chapter, Lea! Love Debbie x

I'm sure I would be leery of any opportunity that showed up unexpectedly, given the situations that you've dealt with up to now. You just need to get that one break that will provide some stability for you.
It's interesting that you enjoy fly fishing. I have a fly rod I bought when I was twelve, but I've seldom used it. Perhaps now that I'm retired I'll break it out and give it a try when spring arrives.
When you're speaking of hearing something the spelling is hear not here. That's the only mistake I noticed.

Don't like you tom these suggestions for heaven and corrections are very important to me! I'm on the bonaparte plateau caribou country fishing for kokanee. I've been ocean fishing like fishing spin casting fly, fishing ice fishing steelhead fishing in january. Yes, I enjoy fishing. I do mostly catch your release. I will keep what I plan on eating. This is interesting. I like your writing. You write well in both poetry and prose. I like the poetry in the beginning and it sets the tone of the prose. I would like to read more.
