It's just a poem, not about someone in particular but the feelings are real. I'm an incorrigible romantic. I can conjure emotions I experienced in my past.

As I told you, you really understand devoted passion. I think this was the kind of love that the writer of Song of Songs was trying to convey and symbolically - it's like the devoted love that the Church should have for God.

Yes, not everyone in the churches follow Jesus teachings...it's very sad. Some are hypocrites. I don't know too many Christians like you, that practice without judgement.

There's one person on this site who gets mad at me if I write about Buddhism or mother earth, etc. He was really offended by my questionair for my club. He was mad I mentioned horoscopes. It was so weird.

It's probably how he was raised with clear division of right vs wrong. As I have aged, I realize how much I don't know and as I read more of the Bible, I see some things that I would question like the "urim and thummim" - (like throwing dice to find out God's will). Since I don't know everything, I can't judge someone else's path to God. God can see the heart and knows everything and I can trust Him.

We went back and forth for a bit. He told me I was a stain on his character.... what does it mean? I told him I considered him a friend to me it was water under the bridge. Eventually he came around. I know him for a long time, since I joined in 2015. The whole thing was really dumb. But we are okay.we just can't talk about religion or philosophy. I'm not even a Buddhist.

Because I write Japanese poetry, sometimes I bring it up because of the culture.
