You could not have found a more perfect picture to accent your loving message to Sandra as she grieves for her brother Ian. This beautiful posting is sure to uplift her spirits at this extremely difficult time.

I really enjoyed the beautiful imagery you used here to evoke the deep connection between loving siblings. In particular, I liked "A man cut from your intrepid fabric" and "Time is but a wrinkle between a breath/Encapsulated in the middle of the air~~~". What a powerful and soothing way to describe the passage of time. Lovely writing.

Hi James,
This is a good poem of comfort for Sandra on the loss of her brother.
It seems he had a battle with a continuing illness for a long time.
He is in a place of no pain now. He still loves her as much as Sandra loves him. It will always be like that until she sees him again.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great weekend.

So beautiful. Thank you very much for participating in Sandra's book. I wrote a jisei haiku, or death poem. It has been heartwarming to read so many poems for her and Ian. I don't know her, but she is part of our fanstory community and I'm saddened by her loss. I have a little brother too.
Your free verse poem is heartfelt and well crafted. You know free verse is one of my favorites poetic forms.
It's good to read your poems, well done!

Yes MariVal, my heart could not do anything but have the need to participate and leave my mark in Sandra's book. I felt and feel her pain of loss as she goes into a hard time of grieving as most of us do when we cherish and love the person we have lost in the physical.
Truly grateful for this beautiful acknowledgement... Sandra is yet another beautiful soul who I follow on site who I also call a good and dear friend.
Beautiful quote... so true!
Warmest regards,
James.

I never know what I am going to write, or who is there guiding my hand and thoughts 'K', I feel it and I write. I know it's not the usual, and I was afraid it may have been too personal in the form with which it is composed. The thoughts contained within the poem have only love and care for my dear friend Sandra... so the intent is pure.
Thank you so much for the reassurance 'K' it allowed a sigh of relief.
Truly grateful for your caring-loving heart.
These writings are never about the review, only about those to who they are directed to and for... I know how much you know that.
Thank you dear friend!
Warmest regards,
James.

James, this is such a beautiful tribute poem for Sandra. It's so tender and sweet direct from your heart to hers. A keepsake and treasured addition for the memorial book. I have lost four of my five brothers, and it has been one of life's most difficult challenges.
