Yes, I bet this all feels pretty good, away from that den of claustrophobic madness. I'm hoping like mad that your friend will be able to help, to set you up on your next stage. But this is a celebratory achievement for now and I can sense that glorious freedom you're inhaling. I like the way you introduce this chapter and speak about the present and the repercussions for your sisters and yourself. This all helps to convey to your reader just how much your background, inevitably, has consequences for many years ahead, which will need counselling and/or intervention of some kind. Small edit in intro - "she seems to (be) happy" I look forward to your next chapter, Lea. Well done! Debbie x
