This is a well-written article about Bil and Jeff Keane and the Family Circus. They both have made this a very popular cartoon that appeals to a wide audience.

Thank you for sharing 'Family Circus' with us. I never knew anything about Bil Keane or Jeff, other than he was a character in the comic strip. I also have a few short 'Family Circle' videos, one on Christmas and one on Easter. I used to share them with my first graders before out classrooms were censored. I enjoyed reading.

I loved this non-fiction account of "Bil Keane". When I lived in CT, there was a comic strip museum in Greenwich which I visited on occasion. Many comic artists would appear there. I used to read "Family Circus" daily many years ago when I worked for a newspaper. It's a good thing I'm not a regular reader now. I'm the "Kiss of Death" to comic strips. I started reading "Our Boarding House With Major Hoople" and that strip ended. I was a regular reader of "Mark Trail" and his trail ended. I forwarded scripts to a comic publisher and that company went bankrupt. So, I better stay away from "Family Circus".

Very interesting! Very well written and informative article with an extensive Author Note. I used to rush to get to the Family Circle cartoon as it always made me laugh. It felt like a little mystery at first and I enjoyed that.
Nest wishes,
Alex

Once again thanks for writing this series, and awards and backgrounds of the actual cartoonists, I'm surprised there's information out there to support this great series Brett, a most detailed article indeed, well done, blessings Roy
