You know I'm saving my six for the end of this saga, but I have to tell you, if there's ever a chapter more deserving in every way, it's this one, Gretchen.

It was perfection, emotion-wise and otherwise. Best, JohnC

Thank you for saying that. I'm so glad you found this to be a good chapter. Sixes not necessary but feedback always welcome. Thanks again, Gretchen

So good! That little glint in Waylon's eye for Miranda and the fact that Mitch hasn't gotten back to her yet has got me worried. I think there may be a bit more to his character than meets the eye. IDK?

So enthralling and exciting. Just love these characters. Gradually they have wriggled under my skin and I know them as well as old Jameson and Iris. Great stuff. Thank you for continuing with this. x

Another good read. I never get tired of the Mirand story. Can't wait for her and Mitch to make up. Maybe her Mom is right? Wondering who the creepy caller is?

Poor kid. He loves his dad in spite of the fact Dougie has deserted him.
Miranda is hoping Mitch will call her but not sure he will.
It sounds like Missy is trying to keep in touch. Ugh,
I guess Miranda is the only individual she wants to contact. She is one sicko, that is certain. She believes they are friends. Well done. Nancy:)

Missy still writes every single day. Miranda doesn't read them. Odd bond between them. Thank you so much. Gretchen

My goodness. That is so dramatic, and full of emotion in every part of it. Tension on all sides. Well done. Looking forward to more, as always.

You paused at a good place, the cliffhanger. Lots of "whys" need to be answered to that phone call. You write very well, and I never think your postings are long enough. Poor Waylon has to be more shocked by that call than even Miranda.

Lol. I seem to prefer 1200 words or less. I try to write dir people who don't like to read. Thats why I use lots of dialogue, short chapters and cliff hangers. I've been told to post longer chapters but just can't. I do try to post twice a week whenever possible. Thank you for the lovely compliment. Gretchen

Waylon much care about his day. I don't know what their relationship was like. Miranda is really missing Mitch and she doesn't want her life more complicated by Aaron falling for her. I'm very interesting in finding out more.

Aaron has always had a crush on Miranda. Never acted on it but now she's broken up with Mitch, things might be different. Thank you so much. Gretchen

Nice chapter. Good movement.
I like how Mitch is unavailable. It has credibility.
Sounds like perfect weather conditions. I'm envious.
Best wishes and good luck with the project.

That's how the weather is around here in the fall. At least, until the Nor'easters hit. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Wow, that's come as a shock with that phone-call. No wonder Waylon is crumbling and Miranda will be in shock. As ever, Gretchen, your story reads faultlessly with excellent dialogue and, no matter the intervals between posts, it's always so easy to get right back into the story. All the characters are so life-like. Well done and thanks! Debbie

Wow Gretchen, you dropped a bomb shell at the end of this post and this changes everything doesn't it? I expect Mitch will turn up again at some stage if he loves as much as Mother thinks he does. Another fine chapter, I was entertained by your skilful pen, love Dolly x x x

Thanks, Dolly. I think Mitch will return. He's just had his feelings hurt. Besides, it will probably add balance to their relationship if he holds off for a while. I appreciate this nice review. Gretchen
