I'm glad that Echo could make that one last phone call to her grandparents. She's being very patient for an investigative reporter! I guess her trust in Theo allows her to wait for all those answers.

Hi Helen! Hope all is well in your world!
Echo won?t stay patient long! Once away from danger, she?ll find her verbal stride!
Hugs,
Rhonda

This is interesting as it is obvious that Echo is going into another lifestyle among Theo's people, who don't seem to be entirely human. I am really enjoying this story.

Thank you so much, Carol. It is a transition chapter, giving all involved a chance to learn.

Another fanstastic and engaging chapter. I see that Theo and Echo have maintained their strong bond. He cares for her and figured out a way for Echo to call her grandparents without being detected. Very cool story of the spiritual and physical world. I look forward to more.
Sending you my best today as always, dear Rhonda, and blessings for your writing endeavors.

Hi Sally,
Thank you for the six stars and supportive review. A little time to regather and tie up loose ends. The original version was a lot longer. It just kept growing until I cut it in half. I?ll post the other half next week. Echo gets nosy and persistent on him as their travels take a while, lol. The reporter in her starts coming out.
Thanks for the blessings, my dear friend.
Much love,
Rhonda

Another fine chapter, Rhonda....so, they're on their way, Theo, Echo, and a cat named Sunshine in a bag. Looking forward to their continued adventures

Thanks for the review, Mike! A clever summarization! Next chapter will be out soon. This one had gotten too long, so I cut it in half, lol, so next chapter?s already written.
Take care,
Rhonda

A lovely, well crafted discussion here between Echo and Theo with the former being just a tad on her guard, albeit drawn, despite herself, to Theo. The fighting is over and the couple seem to be in relative safety at the moment. But is this a bit of a lull before the next storm? Beautifully written as ever, Rhonda. Thank you for sharing Debbie

Hi Debbie, thank you for your kind review! You?re right, it?s sort of a summarizing and tying up loose ends chapter. A momentary lull. Echo will get a lull in action for a bit, but not in adventure.
Thanks for reading and reviewing,
Hugs,
Rhonda
