You are lucky to have such good friends. I am an introverted person and I went to school in Spain so I don't have any friends. That sounds pitiful but after all the years it doesn't bother me. I did have many friends in Spain and it was hard to say goodbye, but harder was to say goodbye to my brother and sister.
Excellent essay written so well that is easy to follow along and it keeps the reader's attention. Thank you for sharing. (*=*)

This was lovely. My wife would love something like this. She has a real lack of friends. A few at church and her "best" friend that, sadly is more on the taking side than "giving." Bible says "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

We stayed in touch when my family and I returned to the States, she stayed in German until she returned. It just so happened she was originally from the town my husband retired in here in Texas, so our friendship continued. It is important for us females to have good friends. Thank you for sharing.

I have been in touch with Jay. He left FS, he does his writing on Medium now, and says he makes some money. I think his scam story was popular there. He is recovering. Several FS people helped him a bit. Terry.
