Exceptional poem with very good rhyme and meter beat.
I love the imagery in your poem. Good rhyming that doesn't sound forced and flows nicely.

I am addicted to my three-person swing--it operates much like a rocking chair but gives a few extra options. I can stretch out and share space with my little dog. There is something so comforting about the gentle movement that comes from rocking--ask babies about that.
I enjoyed your no-rules poem but wouldn't have minded it if you had upped the text size a notch or two.
Thanks for writing.

An absolute gem. A great flow and pace. An easy read with wonderful sensory descriptions. This reader saw himself on that first day of school and shortly after rocking in that chair thinking about that first day.
Great job. Thank you.

Great detail here and the rhythm and flow guide the reader. I love how you change things up throughout.
Never considered before how we start on that horse, and end on that chair...
Now that's it's there I can't un-see it.
I appreciate you, thank you for sharing!!

I really liked this. The rhyme was impressive, and it rolled off the tongue with a pleasant rhythm. I would think this could easily be adapted to music.

This is quite a walk down memory lane, with things I've always remembered as well as memories I'd forgotten. Thank you for that. I suppose my rocking chair is metaphorical, but I nonetheless find comfort in "childhood pleasures". Well done.

I like how you use these meaningful words to walk the reader through a chronology of life events and aging. It encompassed the things that we will all remember and cherish once it's our time for the rocking chair.
