What has happened to you is a tragedy and your Mother and Stepfather got away with it without any punishment. I think what you need is to be believed and we believe you. I think you need your Mother and Stepfather to own up to what they did and this may never happen. But you will always know the truth Lea.
What you need to concentrate on now is not letting your childhood ruin the rest of your life. Moving on and forgiving and forgetting is the hardest thing to do but you have to do it for your own peace of mind. By writing this story I hope it has brought some relief to you and the facts about what happened have been validated and confirmed and no one can deny what happened.
Your Mother is protecting herself because she feels shame and she will have to live with what happened, but you no longer have to live with your past Lea, you can shake it off and let it go. I hope this advice helps you.

Thank you, dolly, yes, it does help and yes, i've pondered the matter many times so I opted for 2 things one is writing and letting it all out. No I don't expect my parents will admit to anything and it's OK that they don't and you're right, I know the truth. It's all that matters. However, I'm gonna finish the story and will, let this chip's fall where they may. All the while, knowing we did nothing wrong. It's such a complex scenario in which you're embroiled. But the good news is, you know how it works, you've analysed and you're ready for what will inevitably be a battle royal ahead. With your mental strength and determination, the odds are in your favour, I would suggest. One edit:"They spread out this made-up philosophy to (anyone or) anyone who listened..." You are the survivor and whatever problems you have are bound to be helped by writing. I think it is one of the best ways to get past this. Whether it means justice for what has happened to you, it should give you
a feeling of control that you didn't have as a bhild It is good your are doing this. You had a husband and children. You made you own family.

You're very right and yes it does help to write it out regardless of the consequences to parties involved. That's done for me too, when I'm done with my book then it all goes on the shelf. And offer your kind was. I'm also grateful and happy for them. Thank you again hope you have an amazing night!
