It is a fallen world and is still paying the price for it every day. Lately, however, an escalation appears to be happening and that is even a sadder thing. In the end, however, good will triumph over evil.

Your "V" line is so true. "Values once held priceless can't appease". Seems there are very few of the good, solid, values the world once knew still in existence today.
In your Notes:
-"but it actually a curse" should be but it is actually a curse.
-"seem on the brink" should be seems on the brink
-no need to capitalize "Values".
Several things about Modern life would do well to return to some of the ways things used to be.

These little wars flare up around the world as people are never satisfied with their lot. Israel has been troubled for years and I wonder if there will ever be peace there. Ukraine is another troubled country. I don't think this means that war will spread, but it does mean that there is some instability. I enjoyed your ABC poem Beth, these are troubling times, love Dolly x
