Brilliant. I guess this is like AI? Not that I really know what that is! Or like wearing a VR mask. Fascinating ideas. The idea of imitating the smells is inspired. Another great episode. Well done, Jim.

Something like a VR mask, but without the mask, which would make the experience less real.
The occasional whiff of Chlorothalonil (a turf fungicide frequently used on golf courses), which I kind of liked, would lend a real air of authenticity.

Another faultlessly written chapter with all the elements of the simulator coming together as well as the specifics for the suit. Excitement for the group as so much thought and preparation is about to bear fruit. Good luck:) Debbie

I hope this isn't getting to be too much. One more chapter in which some of the mechanisms are described, and we'll be done with the nitty-gritty of the simulator.
Now, if only Abby can get that suit going again!

Nicely written. Error free as far as I can tell. (as long as whin is a word - smiley face here)
I'm not sure, but the ride/drive simulators I've seen are a few bucks for 3-4 minutes. Carried out to a 4-5 hour game of golf, wouldn't that be hundreds of dollars per experience?

Could be. I never went that far in my thinking. Even if it was $400, split between a foursome it would only be $100 apiece, which is not out of line for a good golf course.
Whin is another word for gorse--a prickly shrub with yellow flowers.
