This is interesting as Mitch and Miranda try to have a little personal time together. She is just too popular. Aaron sounds like Gomer Pyle, who can believe anything is possible.

Aaron is very much like Gomer. Lol. Gullible, well meaning, but not good with the details. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Is Miranda a reoccuring character in more than one book? One of the days I'm going to have to make time to read the beginning of this one. The lady is very interesting character and it sounds like Aaron may be as well. This one is more of a mystery and I'm anxious to find out what the deal is with the bottle like Dogie's under her mailbox.

I published a book earlier this year Miranda Chronicles. That was a mystery as well. This is about eighteen months after that one ends. I'd love for you to read it. Gretchen

Sometimes, the craziest ideas are the best. Well, and of course, sometimes they aren't. But like the old saying goes, "you don't know until you try." Thanks for sharing.

There's only one way to handle the Aaron thing is let him go, at least his heart's in the right place, he may be naive, but hey, I know plenty of people who've been moved by God to do innovative things...and succeeded, beautifully written, Gretchen, blessings Roy
Typo : Aaron's porch light(')s turned on.

I think Aaron might reach a few people and help tourism for Patterson County. Gretchen

You?re probably right

Very well written. No errors that i could see.
Nice, believable dialogue. And good plot movement.
But I'm not sure why Mitch dismisses the character by the dumpster.
Best wishes.

Thank you. I think Mitch sees Miranda as someone who goes looking for mystery and unintentionally she looks for danger. But he also thinks she's suffering from PTSD. That may be her undoing. Thanks for this. Gretchen

This is a good relationship with Mitch and I'm glad Miranda has got someone there for her, even if he isn't yet taking her concerns seriously. But as I say that, are we entirely sure about Mitch's innocence? Miranda has a real softness in this chapter and is sensitive to Aaron's feelings. Excellently done, Gretchen, with no errors noticed. Thank you. Miranda is very protective of her friends. Especially the ones she sees as vulnerable. Thank you for this. Gretchen

I wish Mitch would take Miranda's threats seriously. I believe. Someone is playing with her and probably for not a good reason. I really like the story.
"Shut up, Miranda," he laughs. (Miranda." He)
The eternal third wheel." Mitch whispers with a laugh. (wheel," Mitch)
he just sits next to me. (sits beside me)

Thanks, Barbara. I'm glad you are enjoying it. I'm glad Aaron is back in it. Lol. Thanks for the edits as well. Gretchen

I like it that Mitch and Miranda will time to themselves Saturday. Just hope nothing jumps up to ruin that. I had to laugh at Mitch's lack of knowledge about Tik Tok. I'm ignorant of it, too. He needs to take seriously Miranda's sighting of someone at the dumpster.

Mitch I believe is convinced she is suffering from PTSD. Or maybe she's overthrowing things. Thank you for this awesome review. I have a friend who loves Tik Tok. It left me cold. Gretchen
