I may not like golf personally, but I do know that those that are captivated by the game, will never stop until they have perfected their weaknesses, whatever the age and the circumstance, and that is obvious no matter where or when, well done, blessings Roy

You're absolutely right about that, Roy. I've got an 82-year-old friend I used to play with who is constantly tweaking his swing to find that ultimate secret--the key to golf--that can never be found, but oh, for the joy in trying!
You can probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of golfers who completely owned their swing and never had to change it. The great Moe Norman was one. A very peculiar individual, but a true master of the golf swing.

First, diurnal??? Really? Why throw cold water ona well told story. I had to stop and look the *^%^ word up.
Second, I concur the Holland adventure was told best, and Arie was my favorite subject.
Oh, no, a simulator. Out of reach for the majority of duffers, fer sur!
My best reflection of these were you have written is the boys playing Kolf at dusk. I recall with a pal playing in the softening light and though we could not see where the shots would fly the feel of each shot was immediately kown and we could walk to where the ball had gone.

Not this simulator. Remember the suit!
All of those things I mentioned including watching golf courses with my nose glued to the window, and looking at them from airplanes, as well as playing at dusk on a course I snuck on were from my youth. Very fond memories!

Ah, more technology to come then. Nice! Nearing the end but I already have a sense of a happy conclusion in the name of the game you so clearly love. And 'McDrone's' is excellent!

Thanks, John. Knowing from Helen's recent very enjoyable interview with you, I see you are a technology nut. You will appreciate Part 4.
I thought folks might get a kick out of McDrone's.

Lol. She made the Tardis bit up, but I was amazed at what she got out of my waffly answers to her questions. Can't wait for the next one Jim. And when it is finished, what then?

Not sure just yet. If it's anything like the last one, I will probably follow it with a few short stories and poems until I get inspired to write another novel. I've got an idea for one that I'm thinking about that isn't a golf novel, but will likely involve some technology.
