I don't like hearing about that dark place. Get help if you find the hole to deep to climb out on your own. As far as scamming, I was lured in to one myself and was sure no one could do that to me, but it was so good and so well organized I fell for it. Fortunately, my husband came home and thought I was hypnotized. He did take me to the bank and dared me to go inside and do what the guys on the phone insisted I do if I didn't want to lose all my money. Fortunately, I went in, looked around, and wondered what the heck I was doing in there.

I understand that you need a break until the situation stabilizes, so keep your FS account as "Standard" (not paid) until you are ready to return, as that may let you keep your Portfolio intact. Ask Tom if there is any doubt about that. Your Portfolio is a treasure many members here would miss. If going to "Standard" membership would wipe out your Portfolio, please tell us, as you have many Fans (including me) who would gladly chip in to maintain your Premier membership to avoid loss of your existing Portfolio.
Meanwhile, please don't let this stress harm your health. -- Mike

Mike, you are so supportive and encouraging. I will definitely ask Tom if my account can stay standard until I'm able to come back. I figure it will be about 6 months, but I need to put my financial house in order as my first priority.

Meanwhile, I am working on my review of the full story. I just finished reading it and its reviews so far; and I am impressed by the support you have here at FS, as 21 Sixes over 27 reviews -- 78 percent -- proves that. I'll be adding an additional Six.

I've already read your post on the scam. You fell for a sophisticated thieving scheme. I hate these people they pray on honest people. You may find some comfort in the fact that there are people out there on the internet that are chasing these b******s. I've already seen one big call center in India closed down. I expect you have had your share of advice. All I can say is keep writing, keep writing and keep writing, don't let those sods change your routine. Best wishes Mel.

God Bless you Cat. Be assured, though, that I am not staying away from Fanstory for good. I'm thinking about 6 months while I try to get my financial house back in order. Your Fanstory support has been my saving grace. I wrote the article out of need for therapy, but the outpouring of support has been overwhelming. Thank you again.
