I feel that presentation extension on Trudeau and his Doonesbury strip is much more apologist's slant on the cartoon's aim and reception during tense political times. Practically from the moment the nation's leadership was forever cast as a corruption not to be blindly trusted, this strip has lampooned the notions and acted out the scenarios readers mostly applauded.

I really like the artwork you chose for this post. Compared to what's going on in our government right now, what Nixon did was extremely minor. Thank you for sharing. I am really enjoying these posts.

I felt myself engaged while reading. It had an entertainment value. I would say maybe the part about *bitching* be changed as it seems to make the author seem bitter. You want to seem unbiased when writing a piece like this. That it based on this one piece of it alone.
