This chapter really shows me a lot more about Miranda's true personality. You really develop your characters well. I don't think I knew Aaron. He must have been around before I got involved in your interesting writing. What you've revealed in this chapter make me feel I'm caught up on who he is.

Aaron was her hippie neighbor. He was very active in the first novel. Thank you for this very nice review. Gretchen

Excellent and thought-provoking writing as always, Gretchen. Love the way these characters are developing. So real. Made even more so by your skilful dialogue. Looking forward to more.

Another great chapter with that excellent dialogue carrying your story so well. Miranda here asserting herself with Matt but not winning for once. Some small edits: Matt "lets" (no apostrophe) go a huge breath," "Miranda I know what you('re) going to say," (without) a cheat sheet.." Excellent continuation! Thanks for sharing, Gretchen. Debbie

I couldn't recite the Lord's prayer {without} a cheat sheet.
Is this the same Preston who helped Terry Joe take down the Preacher? I like that... weaving your characters in both stories together. Well done! She will have a small army of helpers this time. LOL Nancy:)

It is the same Preston. Good eye. I had him going with Terry Joe to get his Gatorades at the Little Eagle in Terry's book. Knew I wanted to continue with his character. Thank you so much for the six. Gretchen

You sure know how to reel us in. I want more. I expected Matt to cave in. He didn't at all, that is interesting. The setup was that he would fold like a road map. Write more, Pretty please with sugar on top? Karen

Oh that is an interesting development. I was always a bit surprised at him wanting to go to Bible College to become a preacher. Now where will this lead? Hmm. Bound to have some repercussions in M's life! We'll see.

I think there's some story behind why Aaron quit. I wonder how Miranda's going to handle have a helper at work. Doesn't sound like it going to go well.

Knowing Miranda, she will gripe and moan, but she won't turn on the kid. Thank you for this. Gretchen
