You've had such fun writing this, Jim, and convey this to the reader whilst never skimping on important and comprehensive technical detail. The suit sounds like a winner for novices as well as skilled golfers like Abby. I'm looking forward to reading about the finished article. Thank you, Jim. Debbie

Thanks, Debbie. Now I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction to Part 4 where we see how this suit fits in with the bigger picture of what is to come.

Me too!

Forget golf! Let's put these suits on men everywhere and teach them how to dance:-)
Having the suit guide her in a dance was wise, as it got her used to following the programmed movements, and probably took some of the stress out of the test.
No matter how good we are at anything - golfing, running, swimming, writing - we can always improve and should always keep trying to do so.
Will there be a tournament eventually, as there has been in the other sections? Did you say how much it cost, or will cost, to develop this?
See you in a few days, Jim.

Have no fear; there will be a tournament. I never really say how much the suit will cost, only a vague reference at one point which will say "thousands of dollars." I really don't have any idea how much it would cost. I would guess in the hundreds of thousands anyway (in 2002 dollars).

Nicely written.
Pretty amazing suit. Though I have to say, that at speed, I can't see how the suit could cause anyone to alter their motion in any way that would be corrective. Maybe some fine tuning?
Best wishes.

That was the purpose of the extra electric motors and hydraulics that Kenny and Eddie added--to increase the power of the suit "at speed" because the small servo motors probably weren't going to be enough. Whether or not this could really work, who knows?
