I can't help but be the skeptic. Sorry.
How would the miniature servo motors react to being washed? (sweaty bodies). Wouldn't it have to be pretty skin tight? And then deal with growth, or body changes?
Oh well. I'm gettin' way too serious for fiction. (smiley face here)

No, that's great! I love the analysis. All those things would have to be taken into consideration if this were ever able to be feasible. I'm guessing it can only be dry-cleaned, never washed in water. And it will come with a few adjustments--buckles and such to let it in or out. I do address a few of these issues later on.

Will this ever be feasible? Who knows? It would take someone much smarter and more clever than me to make it a reality.
