This story just gets better and better. She wants Rita to know her husband isn't good enough for her. She wants Missy to quit bugging her. Also, she is concerned about Waylon's problems at school. The beer bottle adds even more things to worry about.

Miranda would be bored if she didn't have multiple things going on. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Yes, I'm all about characters and what they do, what they tell me is supposed to be called plot. Whatever the hell they want to call anything doesn't matter to me. Character make the stories, and nobody makes them more relatable to me, than you. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Ric. I'll admit, Miranda has my smart mouth but I'm in envy of her guts and determination. I appreciate this. Gretchen

This was a great chapter. I love your Miranda stories. I like Waylon, too and glad Miranda is taking care of him. More mystery around the corner, ha. Keep it coming.

Well written.
I like Miranda's diction. She sounds very normal. Example - (I take a liberal swig.) I don't think very many FanStorians swig.
Best wishes.

Miranda had a busy day off. Lots of intrigue in her life as she investigates her friend's husband and his activities. And now we have a mysterious bottle showing up. Great job building the suspense and raising questions.

Miranda doesn't stay still for very long. Lol. She's a tad on the nosy side. Thank you so much for this. Gretchen

Interesting developments in your story. Missy is weird and yet she has her supporters. She will soon have Rita's husband against her as well, and Mitch will not be happy with her involvement in this. Well written and enjoyable read.

Nope. Mitch is very concerned about Miranda. But there really is no controlling her. Thanks so much for this. Gretchen

This is another great chapter as Miranda continues her investigations. It's always so easy to engage with her because her character is beautifully defined, especially with her beer swilling. Now she has this bottle as further potential evidence, the mystery for her and the reader has still a way to go before being resolved. Thanks for sharing, Debbie.

She is a master mind-f***, that Missy Toblerone. The best thing I can say about her is that her last name makes me think of that delicious candy. Other than that, the woman's worthless. And dangerous.

I think it's cool that Gretchen doesn't even read her letters. Myself, I would be far too curious. But we established long ago that Miranda is way cooler than most people. (She's you, in my eyes. Just so you know.)

I also love the name: Garden of Eden Trailer Park. HAHAHA. You slay me.

Nice chapter. Definitely moving us forward, but maintaining a steady pace with the story and "little details." That's one of my favorite things about your writing. You mention the little things...like the neighbor's cheap cigarette and Waylong dragging his feet and making brown clouds. Your 'artist' way paints little mini pictures for us. Barbara Kingsolver, who's one of my favorite authors does that, too.

Well, thank you for this awesome review. Sorry it took so long to answer back. This week has done its best to suck the life out of me. Lol. Your reviews are always that lifeline I need. Gretchen

You know you never have to apologize to me for that. You're Miss Conscientious, so if I don't hear back, I know you're swamped. xoxo

Well, those bottles keep popping up occasionally, don't they?

This is a great chapter.

I'm beginning to believe there is more (or perhaps less) then meets the eye with Dougie's death. Hmm? best, JohnC

You need to write a mystery. You think like a detective. You notice little things that have escaped other reviewers. Thank you so much for this awesome review. Gretchen

It may be part of why my kids never got away with anything; that and they weren't good liars! LOL. Always enjoy the read, Gretchen.
