You made good use of your fifteen syllables here, Craig. It is true, we have the abilityy to make our life as memorable as we can and not become too bug-eyed like this pair. ð???
Nice one Craig.
Cheers

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fishbowl. Year after year.
I saw Pink Floyd in 1977 on their Animals tour. They played Animals, All of Wish You We're Here and Money and Us and Them from Darkside. Great concert!
Really enjoyed this CD Richard's. I recognized the line immediately. I use Zepplin as a source of inspiration in a lot of my poems.
Well done and best wishes!

Led Zeppelin are awesome as well. I'm so envious you got to see Pink Floyd live - a treat I've never experienced. Thanks for the kind words, and glad to learn of another fan of great music :) Craig

Hmph... Monty Python and Pink Floyd... great fish eyes.

Great entry into the 15 syllable contest. We bring what we can into our lives and in the blink of an eye, it's gone.

Cheers...
John

Craig, This is a very cute 15 syllable poem you have penned for the contest. I love the picture of the two pretty goldfish and the way they look. Maybe hoping for another breath! Best wishes to you my friend! Teri

Good luck with your 15 Syllable Poem. Something fishy about this poem. True, life has no meaning without the gathering of animals to love us, and glasses to toast a friend. Decorating our house with favorite things. Without all these, it wouldn't be life - a desert of dreams.

This poem speaks truth, power, and sadness. You get out of life what you put into life, and then it's over. Over time, this has been said many ways. You have a great overall presentation with the artwork, poetry, and color choices. Best wishes in the contest.

Hi Craig
This short poem tells an important truth. Just as we think we are beginning to understand life it seems to be close to done.
I like the patriotic colors of the font.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Good luck with the contest.
Have a good rest of the week.

This sentiment is at least as old as I am:-). The answer to the question, "What is our purpose?". It's what we want it to be.

We live and then we die.

Lots of philosophy in so few words!

Good luck.

Absolutely, we're all of a sudden here, and then after many years we are no more. But in between those two extremes we frantically try to fill in the gap with something meaningful. Loved your poem, Craig. Ulla:)))
