A good time is had by all. It's great that everyone is so amicable after the match and already planning for next year.
Friendly competition brings out the best in everyone.
Excellent dialogue as we can feel the excitement and joy at the end of a fulfilling day.

Even though the Snogs annoy the heck out of the Foos on the golf course, they are still old friends and neighbors and get along well off the course. That's the way it is with pro golfers too. They want to beat the pants off their opponents on the course, but are often good friends off the course.

Well done.
I'm not particularly surprised that the Snogs had pleasant words about faster play, but I am surprised that it was universal. There are always some antagonistic to change, insisting that the old way is better. I also expect that the Snogs would definitely NOT include fast play in next year's tournament.
Best wishes.

You brought up a very interesting point which I address in Part 4: there are always some antagonistic to change. I think I might take your suggestion here and rework this part a little to reinforce what will be said about it in Part 4.

MEanwhile, across the North Sea, what is Killian and his missus doing? Are we to not expect something more of them, I mean they should be given credit for inventing the game.

I think they've been in their graves for a while, but they won't be forgotten. Have no fear.

It's all coming together, Jim. The win, the romance, the wedding.
The dialogue is tremendous and creates a connection to the characters. I am really enjoying reading your instalments. Jacqui
