Hi Debi, this is a beautiful and wonderful tribute to our one and only Aussie who we all admire. Your poem reads and flows well and has good
rhyming within. Of special note:

A celebrated artist since the age of just fifteen
(Just like our Mackenzie)

Also:
She keeps Jesus first in her life, and for others she prays
(We all could use a few more prayers. Thank you, Aussie.)

I enjoyed reading this beautiful birthday tribute to Kay (Aussie). As usual, you included many interesting aspects of her life, and did it in your delightful Merry-go-Rhyme format. I appreciate the creativity and work this requires.

According to Aussie's posts, her grandmother was Aboriginal, and I love when she explains Aboriginal folklore. To our Aussie I say, Happy Birthday, and I hope you have many more healthy and prosperous years.

I do, too. The writer, relates this person fearless courage, announcing valid efforts, she confronts in this life, not allowing faults to over ride them with emotions of pity. These thoughts, finding encouraging to my own attitudes: and sufferings.

Just got back from 6 days visiting Dali's trilogy ... my favorite part of the trip was seeing his summer home... it was fabulous.

Yes, I am back and raring to go ...
I have so much to do today ...
Raining which is perfect for a day indoors and working on accounts, poem, etc.
Maybe I will even enter another contest.

Hi Santha, you mentioned she is against hunting animals. Is that just game hunts? I know here, we must hunt for food or the deer and other animals would cause even worse problems on the highways and the overpopulation would be disastrous. Its already such a danger for driving.

The English used to hunt fox etc as a hobby. The royalty used to be very keen on deer hunting. I don't know about now. They used to draw flak from animal protection groups.
