I liked the dialogue between Emma and Mr George Eliot. I was afraid he was going to threaten her but with Keith there he could not...and he was polite and willing to be a dutiful citizen

Well, George Elliot seems clearly to be admitting his son's guilt. I wonder how all that will influence the court? Emma is so stubborn I want to shake her sometimes. Interesting read, kay

Oh-oh. Everyone is insisting that Seth and Emma are dating but they keep saying they're only friends. But when they are honest with themselves, how will they convince others that they weren't dating before?

I liked the conversation between Eliot and Emma. I hope he realizes what a good and responsible young adult that Emma is and how his own son failed in maturing.

Wow! Mr. Elliot's going to make good for what he son has caused. I'd be like Emma and just need something serviceable. And after that, I'd take care of myself, too. I'm waiting to see how she gets out of the bathtub. hahaha

Okay, the last line is awesome!!! Mainly because that is what I, and most of your readers I suspect, were thinking. That's a home run.

Very good. Very good, indeed.

You have left Emma in the bubble bath. I'm sure the readers are waiting impatiently to see how she gets out of the tub. We should be closing in on something between Emma and Seth.

Another fine chapter with some additional character development for George.

George kept his gaze on Ace as he walked in from the back porch. [I thought, at first, it was George who walked in from the back porch. It's a minor distraction, but you might consider: "... kept his gaze on Ace who walked in ..." etc.]

I hope between the two of them, they can get Emma out of the tub. LOL.

Well done.
I hope Emma doesn't let that stop her from turning the matter over to her own insurance.
Personal question, if you don't mind?
Do you make corrections directly into FanStory? I do, and when finished, I copy and paste from FanStory back into my Word document. It seems that process is causing a huge glitch when I then copy and paste from the document into an email.
Thank you for any input you may have.

I have my manuscript and do my editing on that, then copy and paste onto FanStory. When I post, I'll often make edits and do that on FanStory. Thank you for the kind review.

You have Emma committing the number one no no according to lawyers when someone is involved in an accident; telling details about her perspective of it and details about her physical condition to someone on the other side of a prospective law suit. They tell you never to say anything to people on the other side or insurance companies. You always tell them to talk to my lawyer. So to me this is a little unrealistic. If she was in an accident, wouldn't she hire a lawyer? That's what I did, I can tell you. Especially since the other driver left the scene. estory

Emma wouldn't want to cause more trouble so wouldn't involve a lawyer. Thank you for the kind review.

It's good Jake was there instead of Seth. Still, George makes insinuating remarks when he arrives. George is being generous about the car, her hospital expenses, etc. There are probably strings attached, like not making public his son's involvement in the accident. However, he does seem to be seeing the light about his son's behavior. I hope to see Emma looking for a job soon, so she won't have to be so dependent. Love Seth's response to Jake's comment about Emma not thinking ahead. Seth said "She never does," which is so true. I hope Emma's not going to need rescuing from her bath. Great chapter. It seems George is beginning to see the light about his son. I think he still wants to protect him, however. judi
