Good progress. Nicely written (of course).
The home owners must have been hacked that the builders walked off after only half a day.
Best wishes.

Yes, but hopefully were understanding enough to Kirk and Putt's duty to defend their country and won't give them a bad Google review.

It seems to me you had lost your mind or at least the way of sanity. I still have no idea why you wrote of THE WAR. Maybe, my thinking is to narrow, loving kolf as I do. And the names ... what is with that? I guess I'll have to wait.

THE WAR is more of a backdrop portraying the era we are in now and is perhaps symbolic (although I never consciously intended it that way) of the upcoming "gowf war" between the Foos and the Snogs at their annual matches.

After all, don't they sometimes call the Ryder Cup "The War by the Shore?"

The strange names are simply emblematic of my warped sense of humor.

Aah, there is a madness in others than Captain Jack Sparrow. At least, two, that we know of.

And another mini cliffhanger. Well done. I get it of course, now. We are in Scotland. The home of golf. St Andrews. I'm predicting again! And of course home of Donald Trump. Lol. this continues to grip me. Carry on!

Yep. Scotland is where most of us are brought up believing golf really began. (I'm still in the Holland camp, though.) They are famous for their links style seaside courses like St. Andrews and Carnoustie. We'll learn a little more golf history in the process.
