Fortunately, the good guys won, although the bad guys were happy to cheat. It is not surprising that Arie wanted to do the speaking and she did a good job at the award ceremony. Only one thing I noticed. In paragraph 4 you say Kilian "began charging" and later in the same paragraph say "before I could advance".

Good catch, Carol. I added "very far" after "before I could advance".

I'm glad our friends won. I am wondering if we're finished with those jerks. I would hope so. What if they bring charges against Fredrik and Gerrit? I can't wait to read more.

I don't know too much about the legal system back then, so I can't tell you whether or not those idiots bring charges, but I am done with them. They've served their purpose in the story.

Yay. Justice and victory hand in hand. An excellent conclusion to the game and I am looking forward to where you're going next. I bet we haven't seen the last of the scoundrels, they won't take defeat lying down. But I could be wrong of course.

Yeah, I think we're done with them. They've served their purpose in this story.
We've still got a couple of chapters of denouement, then it's off to the races again. It will be different, but hopefully as enjoyable as Part 1. It will be shorter, though, as Part 1 took about 40,000 words.

Cool. Really enjoying the journey.

Yay and huzzah!!! To the victors the spoils! Honi soit qui mal y pense!
To the evil doers - great harm! Glad they got there come-uppance, but feel that there might be a finale involving them for the last time. You're going to have to nail them down, Jim - preferably in a wooden box - or two.
Good narrative as always - love the characters more and more - and the support of the crowd was increasingly exciting. Where was that umpire when the rogue coin was 'dropped'? But, all's well that ends well, for the gods of kolf stuck the ball in anyway.
So far, so good . . .
Till next time.

Sometimes those golf gods come through, especially on the last hole to keep you coming back for more. Funny the way that works.
So glad you enjoyed this, Paul. We're nearing the end for this group, but we've got a few more ages coming up soon.

Aha. Look forward with great anticipation.

Error-free, as far as I can see.
Lotsa back slappin'. I'd like to've read a couple gory details of rearranged faces, though. (smiley face here)
Best wishes.

Well, I'll write 'em just for you then, Wayne!
"Albert's ears changed places with his eyes, and somehow his mouth ended up below his chin, while Diederek's nose seemed to be protruding from the middle of his forehead and his mouth and left ear had now changed places. The last I heard, they had joined the freak show at a traveling circus."

There's more to come. Really? What more is there to add?
And did you have to change the flow of the story with the towel dropping?
Men. We are all the same ... almost. There are those who are confused to say they are ... men.

Well, thank you, I think?
Gotta wrap things up here in 13th century Holland before the next set of adventures and characters.
