A good choice by Arie to offer them the nice looking ball without dimples. It's good to see the teammates making good choices, even though the scoundrels are cheating at every chance. I hope they're soundly defeated soon. Blessings. Carol

I am pretty sure our friends are going to win, especially since that ball is not a perfect golf ball. I am liking this story and am pretty sure those jerks will continue to be up to no good.

Hell, I would have let Lars take hold of the two bums and throw them in the pond, far enough as to let the one that couldn't swim drown. Maybe after the match is over?

Yep. Gotta have one last trick to pull before they get their just desserts (and it ain't going to be pie or cake!)

I wish your chapters were shorter Jim. They take me forever to read!
The story continues to be quite gripping - and their lordships to be obnoxious (I do hope you have a grisly death lined up for them!) No let up in their chicanery as they put people off their stroke - but now that they're falling out with each other, and have a duff golf ball, I am hopeful. Especially now we are at 'dormie'.

Good to see, Killian, that you have your boiling point too. It is a clever plot device to hold in tension the joyful possibility of grinding these two a-holes to dust and thereby forfeiting the match - or conversely winning the match without cheating (wait a minute, Arie did manipulate the situation in a most pragmatic way!) and letting someone else grind them to dust afterwards - but even better if they lose VAST amounts of money in betting on themselves.

The choices are a many splendid thing. Look forward to the denouement.

Paul

Yeah, I apologize for the length of this one. I promise most of them will be shorter from now on. I just hated to break this one up any further. I hope you find the climax and denoument of this match exciting. Coming on Monday.

Dormie is right. You know your golf terms.

I love watching, Jim. If it's on UK tv, I watch every minute. Ryder Cup in particular!

Lovely way to go back to the time when they invented dimples. I remember it well. Excellent idea. And so, you tease, we have to wait for another instalment! This one was great though. Up and down like a roller coaster. Thank you!

So, Methuselah, you remember it well, huh? Do you also remember the invention of the feathery ball?

Sorry to have to break this up, but it was just too long. The final part of the match will come on Monday.

Lol. I just remember them roughening it up and making it fly.
