Jesus never deliberated all of that. He only had faith in His Father. It is not easy and we are not Christ but if we chose, we can live by His Great Example. Excellent writing and very thoughtful provoking too. Best wishes!

The facts of life I'm afraid Thoughtgame. We should all be our own people. Which way would you choose ? Knowledge is the king, then the choice is more clear.

This is powerful and so crazy close to the truth, only as I had my own interpretation apon reading it but that's the magic of poetry. I love this it's a compelling statement on humility.

The poem is quite moving. How to choose? Maybe see your family again, but would it be only under the cover of night? And if you surrendered to the siren's call who would really know your worth? This poem poses age old questions in a very personal way. Thank you for sharing this with us. Your pain spoke clearly. I would enjoy seeing more.

It sounds like ego can make us do things we regret and when we lose our way we turn to faith for support. The difference between a hero and a coward is selfishness. One performs the deed for others and the other performs the deed for himself. A poignant write, love Dolly x x x
