Hello Nancy, Many thanks for reading, and glad you enjoyed it. Love, Kay xx

This is an excellent testamony of your faith. Faith in religion or traditions isn't the kind of faith we need. Christ made faith simple enough that even the simplist of souls could understand. If we have true faith in God then we have nothing to fear. Your grandmother was wise.

Hello Beth, many thanks for reading. Glad you think the way I do. My Cathedral is my garden where I talk to the birds and plants and see His hand in all. Love, K. xx

Such an intricately woven and well told story. Your indigenous Grandmother believed in the Christian God? How interesting. What a fascinating tale. I feel that you have so much more to say. I sense a book on the horizon. Best of luck, JT

She belonged to the 'stolen generation' and they were forced to follow the way of the white religion.
Her church was the garden and the birds and flowers - me too. Blessings, Kay xx

I heard the expression, "God has children not grandchildren" I don't think we can choose baptism for children, (no mention of christening, biblically) I think children are sanctified by believing parents, under the age of accountability, Jesus said, prevent no the children coming to me, because such is the kingdom of God. You know Christianity is definitely not a "white man's religion". Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Hello Roy, Someone said to me " Christianity (or Church) is the emotional crutch for the lonely and disillusioned" I wouldn't go that far. Some (like yourself) have been involved in church, preaching, and teaching for many years. If we teach from the Bible then that is the correct way. Many religions, many countries, and many pagans. "God is not mocked." Thanks for reading. K xx

Sometimes churches complicate things excessively. Simple faith in a Saviour who paid the price for our sins is all that's needed. We are all sinful if we are honest with ourselves. How could we live eternally with a sinless holy God without His forgiveness? Thank you for sharing your faith journey. All the best for the contest.

Thanks, Wendy. Religion has done more damage since Henry V111 split the religions. My church is the garden where I see God's hand in the flowers and birds that sing to me. Love, Kay xx
