I am so sorry to hear this. The world loses too many wonderful people to that horrible disease. How nice you were able to spend his last moments with him. I know he is now whole and healthy with his Lord. Thank you for letting us know.

he was a religious man...
and yes I did meet him on Fanstory...and then in person...

It seems that all Michael's leave too soon. I had mine for 22 years and he passed when he was 48. He, too, had cancer and pulmonary vein thrombosis. I am sorry for your loss. You did a nice tribute to him.

your Michael...May He Rest in Peace...
and your so right...it seems that all Michael's
leave too soon...My younger brother Michael passed
in March...same day my mother passed a year before him...

I think of all the times Michael gave my work six stars and I wanted to give this tribute to him a six as well, in remembrance of someone so generous and kind. It is not his sixes I'm going to miss, but his friendship, advice and loyalty. He was unique in so many ways, and strangely loveable in many ways as well. Those who knew him beyond FanStory had a more accurate view perhaps. I know you, Linda, will miss him deeply and long. My sympathies to you and his family, and to all who will miss him. It is always painful to lose someone who has been a big part of your life for many years. Hugs and tears... MM

Hi Adonna, I know Michael loved you as well...you were
someone special in his life...you help him when he needed
someone to comfort him...he felt very highly about you and your husband...and your so right...he was unique in so many ways...
a lot in his poems...he was a brilliant writer...
and I will miss him deeply until we meet again...and I'm so grateful to God for putting me there with him...my heart is broken knowing I will never see him again...or even talk to him again...my prayers go out to his family and friends...and I will
pray for you because I know you feel the pain I am feeling...

did review him...if my guess is right...I think he wrote you a poem...I will go back and try to find one...he had a unique way of wording his poetry...

Oh my goodness...Words are so inadequate at times like this. I did not know Michael well, but I always respected him for his staunch stand on the issues that he so fervently championed when I read his posting in the Forum.
I know you are heartbroken; and again, my words are so inadequate, but know for a certainty that I am sending healing thoughts and positivity your way.

he truly did stand up for what he believed in...on both
the political forum...and the religious forum...he always made me proud of him...and made me laugh...
it's going to be so hard knowing I won't see him again...or
talk to him...I am so grateful to God for giving us his last
days together...we talked about memories of our times together...
I know I will see him again...but I sure miss him now...
so heartbroken...
