Your story is interesting and well-written. I did see some places where (at) might have sounded better than (to). Like Hanna's glance (to) her hand. (At) might have sounded better. It might be just the preference of the writer to choose either word. Nice story.

This was an enjoyable chapter, Wayne. Ben faces a difficult decision, and decides that he must follow his calling alone. He really is dedicated to have turned down the likes of Hanna.
It was interesting to see how Angelo is now lost in how to change his life around now that he has seen the light, but Ben seems to have pointed him in the right direction with his vision.
I also loved how you brought in the early days of professional baseball as well. I always though the White Stockings were the precursor to the White Sox, but you are correct; it's the Cubs.
Will there be a villain coming soon in this story? I think it could use one. - Jim
