LOL, some great humor and satire in this piece, as I know you are good at writing. I had to check the rules because I am pretty sure the intent of the contest is for non-fiction entries. But the rules don't really specify that. In my mind, it just adds to the humor. Good luck. I saw one typo--add (ad). Terry.

This is amusing and yet some will disagree: " What Dollar Store gifts I could buy her for our twentieth anniversary" The 'what-if' will be snickered at, but we all do it. This is one of the main habits my character Bea the wee bear has.
