Hi MariVal,
I guess after I traveled the mounts, valleys and peaks with a keen eye... I stalled, lingered in a sea of time to see.
The last line allowed the whole Tanka poem to not only take on a new meaning, but also allowed that feeling of meeting in the middle of the air to lengthen... within a thought.
With our thoughts we create...
a porthole.

Very interesting Tanka. I liked the feeling of spying from this. It had a very spiritual feel. Either someone watching the love of their life from afar or simply enjoying being a voyeur. This was a very unique poem. Thank you for posting. Gretchen

Romance brings lots of deliverance in this poem. It will climb valleys, mountains, and high peaks of the sunset. It will rise high above the moon, sun and stars.

Oh yes, the human body has similar features as an earthen landscape, they are most notable in the young particularly, so you've written a wonderful tanka here, but although you list it as 4/4/4/7/7, the third line is only 3, well done, blessings Roy
