This is a cute story. I liked the butterfly names and descriptions.
The moral of this story may have been that you can be just as happy as a worm. Ha!

This is a great submission for this contest. Your descriptions are accurate and vivid of what the transformation will be like. What was lacking was the patience and the caterpillar paid the price. I think this would make a wonderful children's book with illustrations.
