I choked a bit on your 'word salad' but I applaud your offering of a different subject for readers.
I think it would be troublesome to have 'an obsession with recalling a specific word' if the words were all tricky ones like these in the poem!

Interesting concept. I must admit you had me digging in the dictionary then I read your foot notes. It helped. The syllable count was there. I see nothing wrong. Best to you.
