Gretchen! What a beautiful story.
Your writing, for me, has this layer of uniqueness that can't be duplicated. It presents itself as simple but carries powerful meaning and undeniable grace that comes easily to the eyes and the mind. I can't say enough! Best JohnC

You don't have to say anything else. This review almost made me cry. Probably one of the nicest reviews I have ever received. Thank you for the extra star as well. Gretchen

I loved the story, especially about the seasons - and how we need them all, even though they are opposite pairs, with application to relationships. One little thing. At the beginning you mentioned it was May, at the end you said it was July. Quick edit. Best wishes.

I have unified the two calendar errors. It is now July. Thank you for catching that. Thank you for the awesome review. Gretchen

Fine sentiments here in this unique and heartfelt story here Gretchen, I enjoyed the easy dialogue and the wisdom within too. It is funny how a stranger can influence us with just a few words that resonate. A magical piece of writing.

Love this line:
(Her laugh was light, delicate like the waterfall of piano keys).

Much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Oh, that was tender, very moving. I'm left wondering about the stranger. It was when she said she'd wait for another bus that she took on an other-worldly persona. A midwest angel at the Greyhound station. Very good!

I felt the woman's character sits at the bus stop just to visit with people. No real destination. Just sees who needs a kind word. I know one thing, I'd like to find that bus stop. Gretchen

This is so true Gretchen. I learned this the hard way over the Holidays when my two youngest children just up and died , unexpectedly! We take so much for granted. I am so thankful I had the past five years to be so close to them. We never missed saying Good Night, I love you. I can still hear their voices saying those words to me every night. I miss them so much, but I have so many memories and we were very close. Time does fly!
Well done Dear. Nancy:)

My three youngest still live at home. 25, 23 and 21. Some days it's like having the coolest roommates ever. Next day it's like having toddlers. Lol. That is one good thing. People can't steal your memories. Thanks again for this. Gretchen

Thanks for sharing this interesting story. I was just slightly confused as to how the old lady being one of four slotted in. It seemed to be missing a sentence or so of context. kay

I added a couple of lines. Hope that helps. You were right. Needed a few more details. Thank you for that. Gretchen
