Your poem reminds me of the Little Mermaid~ The Guinea pigs approached the mermaids and were they delighted with laughter? They did laugh at the potatoe-like creatures.

Would you believe me if I told you that I JUST had this very same dream? I don't think so, so I will end my joke. This is a very pretty story poem. It is clever, imaginative, and full of imagery. This would make a great writing prompt for children as well. Great work! :)) Alex
