This is a beautiful and meanful poem Sandra. I know Judy will appreciate it deeply. Just reading it has caused tears to stream down my own cheeks as I remember the loss of my own husband nearly six years ago. It is true, you never truly lose someone you love.

I'm sorry I made you cry, dear Beth. It is hard to lose our loved ones. I know how hard it was when my young husband died 40 years ago. I was lucky that I had our two young sons with me. and your so right...God was there for her...
and He will stay by her side...

We seem to be writing a lot of these sad poems lately and it never gets easier. You are right, it's not the end for Dick, and they will be together again. His spirit will be with her until then. This is so perfect. And of course, you write from experience so your compassion is born of all that you went through. I especially loved "You never truly lose the one you've loved." I'm going to bookcase to read again when I have to write this kind note to other grieving friends.

Your poem to Judi was awesome, Sandra. Your words
were descriptive of Judi and Richard's life together and
of their faith in God. Your words flowed smoothly with
great imagery. It read like a letter to Judi. I believe it will
give her strength as she navigates through her grief. Of
course, she will forever have her memories til they are reunited.
The picture was beautiful--so calming and relaxing.
