Well done, Bro.
Edited to add, we all know there has been great attempts to quash the history of what Nazi's did to the Jews. It is important to keep the history alive.
There is the same prejudice, these days against bible believing Christians, I believe. Islam is being allowed to predominate, in this day and age, where Islam only became a religious group way after Christianity. Even catholicism did not start before (Bible-based) Christianity. Sorry, I had no SIXES left.

I've observed within myself, and those around me, if they don't like someone or something, they will make up reasons why, whether it be truth or not, it doesn't matter, they will make myth become truth. It is obvious to me who is pulling the strings, the Jews are God's chosen, "We fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, and wickedness in high places" Ephesians 6:12. Eventually true Christians will be persecuted, and probably from the established church, who have entertained wickedness for many centuries, "Satan comes as an Angel of light." 2 Corinthians 7:14. Thanks for this Brett, blessings Roy

People like Hitler are considered narcissistic so is Cane West who have no morals at all Incan't believe he tried to run President.like Trump he thinks he is God! This world is a mess as it is blowing people away won't solve matters.
All lives matter no matter what religion. Ethnic or beliefs they were raised with. Freedom of speech has its limits when it continues to hurt others and the ones you love.Hate does not solve the issues at hand and those that break the commandments need to be held accountable for their cruel actions committed by you or others in you groups.
You might thumb you nose up at the law and righteousness by the law always wins.karma my friends is hell.
Until the world gets along with all I one is safe from ridicule like Hitler did just picking out Jews to take his hate out on "Jews and only Jews."better example whites and blacks hating each other and can't settle their differences or the KKK using their grudges against blacks. No different in my opinion just saying. No disrespect to anyone.

While stationed in Germany back in the 1980's, my husband was Active Army, we visited Dachau Concentration Camp. While still in the parking lot chills ran throughout my body. The horrors that happened there could still be felt. I never understand the hatred of the Jewish people. Most world religions descended from them. Thank you for sharing this very well written contest entry. Good luck with the contest. I doubt you will need it. This article is a winner.

Where was your husband stationed in Germany in the 1980s? I was in Katterbach, by Neurnburg. Seems perhaps we have something in common. Appreciate your insights, comments, vote of confidence, and the review.

Darmstadt, Germany. We did two tours both of them there. Neunberg did Christmas right. I always enjoyed visiting it.

Brett, you've addressed something I've felt very strongly about since I was very young, In fact, since I was 9 or 10 years of age. My adoptive parents always told me what had happened to the Jews by the hands of the Nazis and as we travelled through Europe they showed me a couple of the concentration camps. It shook me to the the core and I wowed to try to understand how this could have happened. All I came up with was people's cowardice and need to find a scapegoat for their own demise. Something that is still happening and on the rise.
As to the Jews settling in the holy land. They didn't take anything away, they merely returned to the land they once occupied and from where they were evicted. Also, never to forget, Christians and Muslims, all descend from the Jews. Thanks for sharing. It was a fine write. Ulla:)))

Appreciate your insights, comments, and the review. Seeing those camps must have been an eye-opening, yet chilling, experience.

It was, but I'm glad I I was shown them. What happened must never be forgotten.

I wish I had a six for your excellent writing on the antisemitism in the world. As a Christian, I have to say it all stems from satan's hatred of God and his chosen people. I firmly believe that the people who spill this Godless blather will suffer sooner or later. God will not be mocked. Once again, you did a great job. Enjoy your day. Shirley

Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
A very interesting and comprehensive study on antisemitism with obviously impressive research, examples and a compelling narrative against this destructive prejudice. It is a very lengthy piece but the interest is hooked straightaway by the riddle in the first para and the answer below. There follows a very well-written and argued defence on Jews in general, particularly emotive due to the post's title and definition of "kikes" as uneducated immigrants in the early 20th century, a status that would have done nothing to assuage antisemitism. Just to pick up on some very small edits: 'ideology' in 5th para; practitioner in 11th and, much further down 'fogies as opposed foggies? and disseminating. To conclude and excellent post and a very strong message to us all. Well done, Debbie

This is very well written and documented as the cancer of anti-Semitism in this country and the world in general. Very convincing and so true that the cancer is ever-growing.
You stated your case well!
Thank you for expressing the need to address this issue!

Thank you, Brett! This is wonderfully written with a cautionary word inside. It's hard to believe that Jew hatred exists today, but it does. You would think the Holocaust would have have been the lesson of the ages. For many, it's like it never happened. The mantra of never forgetting is wasted on those who never learned in the first place. I felt it very well in January of this year when I wrote an Abecedarian Poem of the Holocaust titled: In Memoriam. Read it and the reviews sometime. One reviewer called Israel the plague. I kid you not! Needless to say, and if you know me, I let him have it. Honestly, I shake my head at people like this. Hitler thought the same thing and referred to the Jew in the worst terms. The power of hatred of another is clearly seen, and WWII is a grapiic reminder to us all.
Thank you, again. Stellar historical writing and perfectly applicable to the shocking current events of today. Virtual six with compliments!
Blessings to you always, Brett, and my very best for the contest.

Do believe would handle the situation of being told something like that in a very close manner as you did.
