That sounds like a poet - keeping love burning but in secret because most poets are rather introverted like Emily Dickinson. I can imagine someone like her doing precisely this.

These are strange, ugly looking birds making a fearful sound, this is an eerie write about an unrequited love with a chilling mood here, a melancholy presentation, love Dolly x x x

This poem tells a love story that is very touching. She stays up late writing poetry for someone in the same neighborhood who probably will never know she cares for him. But there is that lovely connection--the mournful sound of the photo bird he likely hears too. Rod

I can remember when I was young that I had some marvellous crushes, even as young as eight, (they were very innocent though) but all unrequited. This is a fantastic post deat Gypsy, well done, blessings Roy

Yes, I had crushes when I was very young too. Nothing ever happened but I remember that feeling. My true first love was at 15 years old. His name was Pedro, I still remember him.

Thank you, Roy. You are very kind.

I no longer burning the midnight oil. I am lucky if I stay up till 8 o'clock in the evening. I guess that has to do with the fact that I get up around three to 4 o'clock in the morning. Patricia.
