Aww, Terry, you made me tear up at your wonderful tribute to Zoe. What amazing birthday celebrations! And she sounds like she was a lovely person. I hope she told off that male friend of hers about making too much money 'for a woman.'
One suggestion to consider:
In the sentence, 'Zoe shared the same birth date as Queen Elizabeth.' Maybe change birth date to birthday as birth date implies they were born on the same exact date (month, day, year) while birthday means they share the same birth day (month and day).

If I had any sixes left, I would have given you one. This is an excellent story and I love how Zoe embraced life. Your description of the fun birthday parties make me feel like I was there.
