Well, I have to say that your guilty pleasure is so much fun, interesting and original poem! Sumptuous food and men in the same breath. I love it.
I enjoyed the meals and as usual a delightful read.
Good luck in the contest.

Some very funny lines in here as in Elvis's hips, Heston's Moses, all the Tom's get a flavor. I like the mixture of food with your list of favorites. Best of luck in the contest. An original take for sure.

This is outrageous, but I loved it. I am however perplexed, why am I, Aussie Bob missed out on the list. Sometimes I like my poetry to be clever rather than lyrical and this one sure qualified. I think the author also qualified, in her case for a private room at the funny farm. Hope to see you there.

Great, Debbie, and I love the idea of matching scrumptious men to food, but I picked up a couple of little errors you can fix; I'll blame them on your naughty eyes:
1st line: ...how...HE would swing
and GRITS -only 1 't'
Love ya stuff, ciao for now, Juliex

A fun, interesting and original poem! Your mind is in the kitchen? Lol. Some of those are indeed very delicious options for cakes. You are very creative and imaginative. Well done - and best wishes for your entry.

This is unbelievably creative and funny. How do you do it? It seems you can take any event and turn it into a rhyming story. You did a fantastic job naming all those men. Wow! You had a cake decorating business and could make naked cakes. I bet I'll remember that little fact. Haha. You did a fantastic job on this fun poem.

You did a great job, Debi, with a fun poem. However, I
know the men you listed, loved, and admired were done
seriously. Your couplet rhyming worked well for each individual
or group. I liked the smooth flow, the great rhymes, and the
strong message--esp the end. Who could compete with Glen
the teddy bear? No one. The cake sounded delish. Mind you,
I said sounded as RR is already taken, but we can dream,
right? However, no one will ever take your hubby's place.
He's a keeper. Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the
contest, Jan

Delicious desserts and some slammingly fine men... both are guilty pleasures worth waxing poetic over and you've combined them into a fun and smile-inducing verse!
One has too many calories and the other has to many hormone inducing flare-ups!
(Giggle)
Dolenz was my favorite monkey too...
You had quite the racy cake making side business!
Naked?
Woo hoo!
You wild woman you!
Twelve great couplets, all with great rhymes...and each with another man to consider.
(It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it!)
:)

Good luck wishes regarding the contest entry, Debi. The picture was wonderful and tasty. I really enjoyed that you mentioned all those people so wisely. Yes, I did realize that Marshall Dillon was fictional. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs.

Oh Debbie, you out did yourself once again. I thought this guilty pleasure ranks among the top of the ones I've read in this contest! And I'm in the contest, God help me! Haha.
You're amazing.
Cheers to Martin Sheen cheesecake?
