Hello Paul,
An interesting choice of name for the one character, Silas. He was thought to be a prophet and traveled with Paul.
Alas, he must not have been a very good prophet or he would not have entered that contest.
Clever, and most perfect ending. If the judges have a sense of humor, this short dribble story might well win the contest.
Six stars for one of the best flash stories I've read on Fanstory.
