What wonderful descriptions of aromas! I could almost smell them myself. If I visited an aroma museum, I'd be running from room to room. I love the smell of hickory smoke from a barbeque.

Thank you so much!! Lovely review. Yes, so many of our memories are triggered by smell. I think I too would hurr from room to room - or have an annual pass so I could visit as frequently as possible!

I enjoyed reading this club entry. I think somebody should invent this. It would be great. I have noticed that museums, zoos, and botanical gardens, that I've visited lately are doing more hands on and theme sections in them. I think that's a good start. I'm really enjoying the hands on in the museums.

Thank you Barbara, and you are right - they are much more interesting, and one tends to remember more if one is involved in the experience. I would develop such a museum myself if I had the energy and money - I'm sure it would be successful. Thank you so much for your review and time.

I don't think I'd like the flies although one can get used to anything in time. An Aden you could tell how long someone had been out there by applying the fly test. For the first month, if a fly dropped into his beer a man would chuck the beer away and order another. After he had endured a couple of months he would remove the fly before drinking the beer, and after three months, 'There was a what in my beer mate? Tasted OK to me.'

Lol. Probably true! Or one could say "Well, he's only small - he wouldn't have drunk too much!" Flies are mostly in summer, and particularly at outdoor barbecues. They are annoying but you do get used to them. That's why those broad-brimmed Aussie hats have corks on them, to keep swinging back and forward and deter flies from being in your face. Great review, many thanks.

You have so will describe what it might be like to have this kind of a museum or a person could go in since the smells in the sounds of the nature they live in. I enjoyed listening to your story very much, and it is very well written. Patricia.

You have disappointed me by revealing that this museum is fictional. I was already adding it to my bucket list as you so cleverly and realistically shared the experience. Great job.

Lol! It is a wonder it is not a reality. Now, if I was younger, with more energy and money ... I am sure it would be a successful enterprise. Thank you so much for your lovely review. I also appreciate the beautiful extra star - an honour, and a great validation of my writing.

I enjoyed your "sensory museum." I think someone could take your article and create one completely, just from your descriptions. I can't think anyone could come up with a better idea for this contest!

Thank you for a lovely review! I thought the same: it would be a wonderful experience. If I was younger with more energy and more money ?, in a way I?m surprised it hasn?t already been done.

This is a well-paced look at a special type of experience. The language is varied--without being overblown. The flow is good.
My one suggestion is the change of color in the font seems distracting. The tone and color of the words would be enough to convey the dramatic change of scenes.
Thanks for a good read.

This is a remarkable piece allowing me to walk step by step with you while touring this marvelous exhibit. Very well done ... and by the way I went in and change Cataclysmic Disruption on yours and a few other suggestion.

Good job. You make me wish to visit such a place. With modern technology someone could actually put people in places and situations. And toward the end of the exhibit could be the food aromas leading directly to the cafeteria!
Best wishes.

Excellent idea. It's a wonder this hasn't been done before. Now, if I was younger and had more energy (and money) I am sure this would be a great success. Thanks so muchfor a great review.

Well all this beats car fumes and stale factory smoke Wendy. Your inventive write is a delight to the senses here, even the curry smells are delightful. I enjoyed my senses being tickled here, love Dolly x
