It seems you know this newbie very well already. Was she a friend before joining fanstory? It is great that her daughter is writing too.
Is she writing under her real name of another name. I'd like to check her out.

Hi Joan, I never met Jessica Wheeler,(her name) before she started reading and reviewing me, but knowing I never heard of her and how respectful it wasn't characteristics of some of the newbies we have had lately. Then I met her in the voting booth as she would place above me, then below me. So I told her once that we sure entered a lot of the same contests and always seem to be neck and neck. Then last week we tied for one, so I told her that we were no longer competing neck to neck,, but now we were dancing cheek to cheek. Lol..that's what the last stanza was about. It would take me forever to honor all the women I love so much here, so I am planning a few or couple to try to handle telling you wonderful friends what I think of you. There is no better time. And you Ms MN girl, are very special and one of the first I met when I came here. Now it feels like we have been friends forever.

Hi Sweetie, actually not sure if that picture is in her portfolio or not, because I had her send it to me. I haven't had a chance to review too much of her work, but she reviews me, and I won't even call her a newbie, lol, because she doesn't really act like some from the last few months. I can't wait till I get these eye surgeries behind me and then I can review too a little more. Right now there are barely enough hours in a day and eyesight to do the writing and thank you's.

This was actually suppose to be a contest that I was going to start to encourage people to befriend a new person for Women's History Month

But somehow after the last couple weeks, it deadened my nerve for contests that singled someone out. This way me singling people out by writing my own, I'm keeping the others from the same abuse, of that accusation and other things that have been said.

No biggie, never mind me. Just saying why I decided not to do the contest. I am truly happy, sweetie. 99% of the people are so wonderful and I am blessed with the best friendships. You being on top of that list.

You are so sweet and I will tell you she is good, and doesn't have the attitude that some have taken when they first come on here, so she does deserve a little recognition that I hope this gets her. I believe I read one or two of her pieces and if I remember correctly (at 68 that is s chore on its own) she is an exceptional writer.
