This definitely says it in just one line! I love the idea of pearls of wisdom found in an ocean of words. This is the crux of how it appears to others when they write a few words and say so much!
Thank you for sharing this wise and thoughtful poem!

You are very welcome, DD, and you have a great Sunday, too. It is very windy and chilly here. April came in in a big way with thunderstorms last night.

Hello :)
I enjoyed reading your mono stitch.
I like the themed linking between the ocean/pearls and words/wisdom at either end of the sentence.
Very nicely written and presented.
Good luck in the contest.
Best wishes, Debra

Congratulations on writing a genuine one liner. This is only thirteen syllables long, looks and sounds like a single line. Too many of these entries are really crowded and only technical one liners. This is well done.

That was excellent! You've taken the pearls from the ocean and made a complete story in that one line poem, very well done, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

I really like your one line poem and think it is a very good contender for the competition. Very profound. I keep looking at the artwork but can't make out what it is. I wish you lots of luck in the contest. Best wishes. Jen.

With just the few words and a compelling graphic, a simple truth. As we go through our days, it's nearly impossible to hear complete silence. Instead we have talking heads speaking of news stories, then discussions about the discussions of the news stories. And then there is all of the other talking. Then, a little child will say, "I'm tired, Mommy; can we go home?" Or some voice over on a commercial will say, "Have you told some one you love them today?" Or a singer will end a concert with, "Peace Now!"
Your little poem made me think of all that and more. If only we could have days filled with all the pearls and less of the endless filler. Great writing. :)
