Calm breathing, mother natures majesty leads to calm demeanor.
I'm not sure what a cinquain poem is supposed to (somehow 5's are involved because cinque is 5 in Italian), I do know I enjoyed it.
Nicely done.
Cheers to learning something new...

How many times do you take a breath each day? We don't count them, purposely, at all. The picture says it all! When we are out in nature, we breath in the freshness of it and yes, it does soothe us. Loved it.

LadyMJ, the best part of breathing is being aware of do so and not trapped by the senseless mass-mind frenzy of everyday living.

I enjoyed your cinquain poem. Those who live in the concrete jungle never experience the sights and smells of mother nature and her beauty. If we make a concerted effort to breathe her loveliness in, peace comes naturally. K xx

K, I do agree that surroundings are cloak our senses and one must work diligently, if even to just feel the sun or see the moon from the heart.

It certainly does JLR. Yesterday, for the first time in a week or so I woke to see the sun pushing through clouds and to hear much bird chatter. Mother Nature welcomed my day, soothing my soul. Well said, cheers

I love Cinquain Poems, such beatiful poetic form.
It's so important to pause and take in nature's splendor.
Excellent entry for Cinquain Poetry contest..
Good syllables count and connection between lines.
I love the imagery and presentation.
Good luck in the contest.

Yes, being outside and breathing in fresh air does sooth the souls and seems to make whatever is wrong a little brighter. I enjoyed reading this contest entry and wish you the best of luck.

Hi Jim,
This is a well done cinquain. It shows us that breathing is life and that life is better when you enjoy nature while breathing.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

Great verse.
So many things about Mother Nature are soul soothing. The tinkle of streams, psithyrus, a warm beach. All bring solace to the mind and soul.
This was a feel good poem and I thank you.

Lovely! I can't count the amount of times I've stood and held my breath at nature's beauty before me. This cinquain is a delight in the way it describes that feeling. It would do everyone a lot of good if they could just take the time to 'stand and stare' at what is around them. Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx
