The silent treatment is the worst punishment one person can give to another and I have seen the effects of it. I personally would not tolerate this kind of treatment and a person who did this would not be welcome in my company, a poignant write, love Dolly x

Silence is indeed a weapon that cuts and leaves the wound to fester. Even with the understanding that is caused by illness, it doesn't lessen the pain inflicted. It will leave a scar.
